Our Legacy
LeGacy Presents is a small business theater company based in Nevada City, California. Dedicated to providing an affordable and meaningful theater experience for our community, we also provide opportunities to those who like to work hard, have fun and contribute to the quality of life in Nevada County and the surrounding regions.
We offer educational opportunities for those who want to expand their knowledge in the world of the performing arts and stagecraft- including Student Matinee's providing a unique theatrical experience for students of all ages!
We feel privileged to give back to our generous community. We make a point to provide a special "Benefit Night" at least once per productions. On Benefit Night, 100% of our ticket sales is given to a local non-profit organization.

Our Producers
Sue LeGate Halford is best known on stage at the Off Broad Street Theatre. She has directed the majority of LeGacy's main stage works including 'A Few Good Men' (2007 & 2010), 'On The Waterfront and 'Miracle on 34th Street'. Alvis LeGate has been well known on all of the Nevada County stages since the age of eight. After pursuing a career in Los Angeles and starring in Michaels Tierney's film 'Evicted', numerous television appearances, including 'Save by the Bell' and 'Beverly Hills 90210', Alvis ventured back to Nevada County to help co-found LeGacy. On stage with LeGacy, he has played the lead in 'A Few Good Men' (2007 & 2010), 'On The Waterfront and was featured in 'Picasso at the Lapin Agile'. Alvis also directed LeGacy's 'The Haunting of Hill House'. |
